If you live in a city, have a desk job (and a pesky one at that), drive an hour at least each day, and dont do exercise, then you likely are forcing your liver to do extra work trying to do away with all that excess of toxins.

Why is my body full of toxins?

Gotten from different souces, the most evident toxin is the repeated pollution in the air that we breathe in mega cities. We also get toxins from all the chemicals that are in our food, specially junk food or food that has been processed to the point that it loses its nutritional value. Preservatives and colorants are some of these chemicals. Also, when we stress, we add our own toxins to the mix.

A detox menu is recommended so as to cleanse our bodies from these noxious toxins.

What should be the reason for my considering a detox menu?

A detox menu will do away with those toxins in your body. If you follow one, you will be more heartier and even more energetic. In addition, since the liver is the organ that handle the natural detoxification of our bodies, you will make your liver's work much simpler. Doing this will drastically reduce the dangers of a serious liver failure future liver desease.

While a detox menu varies from one health specialist to another, there are various common items to most.

First of all, a common request is the prohibition of alcohol.If taken in big quantities for a long period of time, alcohol is very challenging to eliminate from our liver, and it may begin to pile up scar tissue on the liver, resulting in cirrhosis.

The consumption of raw foods is common in some diets. The reason that this is required by a detox menu is that processed foods contain a lot of chemicals that arent natural and may rest in our bodies.

In Conclusion, the most common requirement of any detox menu is drinking water; a lot of it.Acting as the medium through whch our natural detoxification system works, water is more than the most natural of substances.Being the most vital component of the body, water lets us to eliminate toxins naturally.
